Revolting Rhymes and Marvellous Music at the National Centre for Early Music

We love Roald Dahl, and we love music, so the next family concert at the wonderful National Centre for Early Music (just off Walmgate) sounds right up our street.

Marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of Roald Dahl, The Magnard Ensemble along with actor Rebecca Kenny, bring to life the stories of ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ and ‘The Three Little Pigs’ in this fun show for 4 to 11 year olds. It comes to the National Centre for Early Music on Sunday 27th November at 2.30pm. The scrumdiddlyumptious music accompanying these tales has been composed and adapted by one of the leading British composers, Paul Patterson.
