If you’re anything like us, it’s probably been a while since you last went clubbing. Somehow the late nights, sticky carpets and overpriced booze don’t have the same appeal once you’ve got a child or two to wake you up early the following morning.
Time to hand it down to the next generation then, and what better way to introduce them to it than the Party Animals daytime family party? It’s taking place on Saturday 15th February between 1pm and 3pm at Kuda (12 Clifford Street, York) and is for kids aged between 4 and 10 years old (but all ages are welcome).
The resident club DJ will be playing the latest chart music and there will be contemporary dance and street dance instructors from York Danceworks on hand. Away from the dance floor there will be a glitter tattoo area, nail bar, dressing up and craft areas, a photobooth and fun props (all included in the price!). For the grown-ups there’s an Adult VIP area with magazines and newspapers, a nail bar and reflexology, all included in the price. If you fancy reliving your care-free days, you’ll be pleased to know there will be a cash licensed bar too. If you need any more persuasion, it’s fantastic to know that all profits will be donated to BBC Radio York’s St Martin House Children’s Hospice Good Night’s Sleep Appeal. Race you to the dance floor!
