On the edge of the pretty Yorkshire Wolds, Wolds Way Lavender is around half an hour from York and easily accessed from the A64 (summer traffic permitting). Surrounded by woodland, you’re greeted by buzzing bees and chattering birds. There’s plenty for children to do: our kids loved the giant willow maze where they got stuck into lots of garden games. There’s a good play area, giant sandpit and kitchen and even footgolf, which was a big hit with our whole family (note that there are some changes in 2020 because of Covid-19; see below for details). It’s a lovely, relaxing place to visit with plenty of fun things for children to do.
Wolds Way Lavender says….
Our unique family-run Lavender and Nature Farm has evolved over the years to provide an amazing day out for all the family. We are situated just off the A64 six miles East of Malton on the way to Scarborough. Our Giant Games Maze, Nature Trails, Mini Foot-Golf, Mud Kitchen and Giant Sandpit, Mini and Junior Timber Trails, nature quiz and seasonal activities will ensure there are lots to keep the whole family entertained. Take a ride on our Miniature Railway, enjoy the wildflowers and inhale the intoxicating aroma of the lavender.
