Yorkshire Museum GardensAdapting Animals at the Yorkshire Museum

Discover how animals adapt to their habitats in the Extinct exhibition. Follow the trail to find the mystery creature and claim a prize (daily, 50p per trail) or find out how animals adapt to their surroundings and then design your own puppet creature (daily, 11am to 1pm, 2pm to 4pm).

York Maze’s Halloween By Day event is a firm family favourite. There’ll be pumpkin carving, spooky phantomime show, haunted maze treasure trail, Ghostmania ride and more. Find the golden ticket in the pumpkin patch to win a gold pumpkin worth over £1000.
