York Castle Museum is bringing the First World War to life this half term with daily performances of One Man’s War. Meet a Great War veteran and be recruited into his regiment before joining him on his journey. Performances will take place throughout the day, 11am to 4pm, from Monday 27th October to Friday 31st October. There’s also the chance to make your own medal (11am to 1pm, 2pm to 4pm every day) and to try pickle recipes in the Castle Kitchen.
