Forest schools are big news at the moment, for all the right reasons. It’s great for kids to get outdoors, engage with nature, learn to take safe little risks and explore their environment. So it’s exciting news that York Museums Trust is launching a new forest school in York Museum Gardens next month!
Little explorers (aged 2-5 years old) will be led through stories and adventures by an experienced Forest School qualified leader. There will be six weekly sessions, each lasting two hours, where children will forage, build, explore, create, learn skills and have fun. Sessions are £10 each. It will run on Tuesday mornings from 9.30am to 11.30am, from 4th June to 9th July 2019.
