Sunday mornings are usually running mornings at our house, and for the past year or so I’ve been dragging the 6 year old and 3 year old with me. We reckon you’re never too young to get your trainers on and get out there, which is why we’re so pleased that Junior Parkrun is coming to York.
The Knavesmire junior parkrun is a free, timed 2km run for children aged from 4 to 14. It’ll start from the main entrance to the racecourse every Sunday from 9am, starting Sunday 3rd July (note that it’ll be cancelled some Sundays because of events). Anyone in the age bracket can take part, but they must be registered with parkrun and have a unique barcode when they run.
