York Theatre Royal and the Aesthetica Film Festival are teaming up for a special film screening this April, introducing children to the joys of independent film with an hour of fun, inspiring and memorable shorts. Animation: Imagination & Discovery is a 60-minute screening that will introduce children to the wonderful world of animation, from stop-motion fairytales to hand-illustrated stories. These six films, suitable for all ages, cover a range of topics that are highly relevant in a child’s emotional education, from love and loss to friendship and identity. Beyond that, some of the films are just good fun! The first screening takes place at York Theatre Royal on 30th April 2022 at 2.15pm.
