Museum Baby: Free fun at York museums for under-twos Little VikingsRecently we brought you news of the fantastic Early Years Explorers activities for two to five year olds at the Yorkshire Museum and Castle Museum. It wouldn’t be fair for the pre-schoolers to have all the fun, so we’re pleased to say that there’s also a programme of activities for babies under the age of two called Museum Baby. These sessions are linked to the exhibitions and include storytelling, songs and sensory activities that all relate to the Early Years Curriculum. Even better, the sessions are totally free (normal admission charges apply for the museums, but York Card holders get in free). Here’s what’s coming up in the autumn term.
