From little vikings to little chefs: Kids in the kitchen at York Castle Museum York for KidsAs part of York’s Food and Drink Festival, York Castle Museum is inviting kids into the Castle Kitchen. During this special free workshop, linked to the museum’s ongoing First World War exhibition, they’ll get to produce their very own Anzac biscuits (a favourite in our household). Yum.

Kids in the Kitchen – York Castle Museum – Saturday 20th September – 10.30am to 11.30am and 12pm to 1pm – Free (normal admission applies to the museum; York Card holders free) – Book in advance by calling 01904 687633 or email groupbookings@ymt.org.uk
