We are delighted to announce the launch of the Little Vikings Awards 2021, sponsored by St Peter’s School, York. Now in its sixth year, it’s the only awards scheme that rewards the best of York for kids, as voted for by the people who count – York families. It’s your annual chance to shine a light on the people who go the extra mile for families living in and visiting York, and make them feel proud of themselves for the rest of the year It’s also a great way to help other families find the family-friendly businesses that they should know about: a Little Vikings Award-winner is always worth seeking out.
We had a record number of responses last year, with thousands of people nominating and voting, and we hope that you’ll do the same again. There’s no doubt that 2020 has been challenging for most businesses, and we’re sure they’d appreciate a bit of extra love. So it’s over to you to nominate your favourite things to do and places to go with your children this year – please do take a couple of minutes to nominate them. The businesses with the most nominations will be shortlisted.
Nominations are open until 31st October 2020, and we will announce the shortlists in November. Winners will be chosen by public vote and announced in the New Year. So, what are you waiting for?
