Little Vikings isn’t just the voice of the most fun things to do in York with kids, we even put on fun activities for kids in York ourselves from time to time. Following the success of our kids’ zone at the launch of the York Family Easter Festival with Make it York, we’re pleased to say we’ve been asked to provide the kids’ activities at York Food and Drink Festival again this year. It’s something we love doing, and we’re really looking forward to it.
This wonderful festival of all things edible and, er, drinkable, takes place in York city centre in from 23rd September to 2nd October. You’ll be able to smell it before you see it – the aromas from all the different delicious food stalls draw the crowds to Parliament Street and create a real buzz that you shouldn’t miss. Bring the kids along at the weekend and head along to the demo tent in St Sampson’s Square (outside Browns) between 10.30am and 12.30pm where you’ll find us. We’ll have a selection of free, food-related activities to get stuck into so do come along and get crafty! We’re also going to be joined on some days by Penelope at Little Bites Cookery School, so keep your eye out for more details.
Kids aside, there’ll be lots for adults enjoy during the festival including demonstrations from the likes of York Cookery School and The Walmgate Ale House, bars and a market full of temptations losartan 25 mg. We challenge you not to eat your bodyweight in brownies/gourmet burgers/pulled pork.
