Larks in the Park

National Park WeekWhat better excuse to get out and explore a new park than national Love Parks Week? From 27th July – 4th August 2013, we’re all being encouraged to get out and enjoy the fresh air in our local park. And with so many brilliant green spaces on our doorstep – and such fab weather (hope that’s not jinxed it) – what’s stopping you?
If you’re a bit bored of hanging out on the same bench watching the kids climb up the slide for the hundredth time, why not try a park you haven’t been to before? How about taking a ball down to Homestead for a kick about, scootering down to West Bank Park or having a cup of the best coffee in town at Rowntree Park’s Reading Room and Cafe after a game of table tennis on the outdoor table (bring your own bats and ball)? For more ideas, check out our top parks and open spaces here.
