Introducing…Technology in Play: STEAM classes for kids in York

While there’s certainly no shortage of dance or drama classes in York for kids, there’s been a real lack of anything remotely sciencey – until now. We’re really pleased to introduce Technology in Play who run STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) workshops for primary school age children. In 2018 they’ll be launching weekly classes to empower children to be creative and engage with and apply technology dynamically.
In the meantime, keep an eye out on their website for Technology in Play events throughout the summer – they’ll be at the National Railway Museum where they’re delivering free workshops as part of the Young Engineers campaign, and summer clubs too. For more about Technology in Play, take a look at their listing in the Classes section of our website. Make sure you like their Facebook page, too for updates.
