Holiday clubs and classes at Bootham School

[tab title=”Little Vikings Says…”]Summer holidays are just around the corner and premium childcare can be such a chore to sort along with everything else.  Bootham School has partnered together with some of their very own coaches as well as fantastic childcare providers this summer to ensure your child’s holiday care will be as easy to sort, as they are excited to go to!

MMS Camps – Make My Summer is teaming up with Bootham School to put on a fun-filled summer holiday camp for children aged 4-12 years. Whether your child loves playing sport, being creative or challenging themselves to try something new, there will be something to suit everyone!  They will also be running dedicated teen programs offering teens aged 13-16 years an opportunity to enjoy traditional camp activities whilst also gaining leadership skills they can transfer to future education and employment settings.

Bootham Swim School – Bootham Swim School was founded in 1997 by Pam Lester a Bootham School mum, ASA swimming teacher, and Olympian. The swim school has grown considerably since it began and there are now six fully qualified ASA (Swim England) swimming teachers running lessons for children and adults of all abilities.  Bootham Swim School is now managed by Catherine Butt for Bootham School. Catherine is a qualified and experienced ASA swimming teacher and Swim England tutor. Bootham Swim School offers high quality swimming lessons for children (aged 5 and over) and adults of all abilities based at Bootham School, York.

Simon Lambert Cricket Camp – Simon Lamberts popular Cricket Summer Camp is back on the week beginning 22nd July and 12th August. A great opportunity to get out and about and keep developing your cricket. Simon is an ECB Level 2 coach who coaches at the school and has a vast amount of coaching and playing experience both here and abroad.

Creative Journeys – Creative Journeys for Kids run workshops that aim to inspire young imaginations through art, craft & design! Each workshop has a different journey theme, such as ‘A Journey into the World of Birds.’ Workshops are run from Bootham Junior School by qualified and experienced staff.

Bootham Dual Sports Course – Would you like to develop your tennis and football skills this summer? Then why not come along to Bootham School where you will be coached by Bootham School’s George Trifan – UEFA B licensed football coach and LTA licensed tennis coach. Come and learn in a fun environment. Limited spaces available!
