We all know that York is a magical place to live and visit, so it’s very fitting that there’s a new wizard-themed family attraction opening on 17th May: The Hole in Wand at the Coppergate Centre! We had a sneak peek today and were really impressed: from the music to the lighting and decor, the attention to detail is excellent and no expense has been spared to create an immersive experience for visitors. Although you can just pop in to visit the cafe and enjoy a magical potion (or something stronger for the adults) or some uni-pop-corn or cauldron cakes, we’d recommend trying out the mini-golf experience. Anyone over three can have a go (under 3s can potter alongside you for free), but it’s really suitable for children aged 6+. We’re looking forward to taking our kids to try it out soon, and we’re delighted to give three of you the chance to win a family ticket to try it for yourselves too!
