We can’t be the only York parents who’ve had to break it to their little ones that it’s going to be a good few years before they’re going to be setting foot in the York Dungeon. As brave as they think they are, all but the most courageous under-10s is likely to find the experience pretty hairy (and us grown-ups will pay the price in dealing with their nightmares for days to come).
But the good news is that this Halloween, children aged 6 to 10 can enjoy a walking tour of York that’s been designed by the York Dungeon especially for that age-group (and that doesn’t involve going through the imposing doors of the Dungeon itself). Dungeon Characters Smythe and Smedley will lead this walking tour which will contain mischievious tricks and treats and Halloween storytelling.
