We’ve got some excellent eerie news for you if you’re looking for something fun – and free – to do in York during October half term: the Little York Ghost Hunt is back for 2023! It’s part of York Ghost Week, which runs from Monday 30th to Thursday 2nd November, 6pm to 8pm.

Join the search each evening at dusk for the Little York Ghosts which hide on the streets that flank the Minster. This is a seek-and-keep hunt. As twilight gives way to night, The York Ghost Merchants invite you to join the search each evening (exact dates and times to be confirmed) for Little York Ghosts along the atmospheric ancient streets that surround York Minster. There are 125 to find each evening and included in their number are two rare & unusual types in limited number each night. Maps will be available from The York Ghost Merchants from mid October.
