It’s hard to imagine that one day we’ll be able to go out on day trips with our children again, but it will happen (we promise!) and we’ll enjoy it even more than we ever did. And when we do, there’s another reason to go to Eden Camp: their new play area has arrived! It’s something to look forward to, and another good reason to visit the popular modern history theme museum.

The new play areas have been are tailor-made for all ages and will let the kids run off some steam while you have a picnic. They have improved their junior play area with a variety of features to suit family fun in the sun once they re-open. As well as a new tunnel slide, specially designed to remain safe in all temperatures, there’s a net swing and a watchtower in true Eden Camp style.
During peak season, they’ll also provide several traditional lawn games such as marbles, skittles and hopscotch, and not forgetting the famous Music Hall!
Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum is currently closed due to Covid-19 restrictions, but activities are carrying on behind the scenes in preparation for when restrictions are lifted. Keep an eye on the Little Vikings website for details of opening.
