Family-friendly York business? Join our club!

When it comes to the best of family-friendly York, we’re the experts. It’s our job to know the best things to do in York with kids and the places that welcome families, but not everyone does. It’s not always obvious from the pavement, or a website, whether a place welcomes families. That’s why we’re launching the Little Vikings Family-Friendly York Club: an exclusive club of businesses that promotes and represents the best of family-friendly York through our award-winning multichannel platform.

It’s all part of our mission to help families get the most out of the city and to fly the flag for family-friendly York. Although members will be identifiable through our club member sticker, this is more than just a badge scheme. We’ll promote our club, and our members, through our magazine, website and social media to help families find the best places to go and things to do. We know that our readers trust and act on our recommendations, and take our responsibilities very seriously, so only businesses that meet our family-friendly criteria will be eligible to join.

If you’d like to be part of it, please get in touch. Since we launched in June 2017, we have welcomed York Minster, the JORVIK Group, Castle Howard, Dalby Forest, Sing and Sign York, The Patricia Veale School of Dance, Blossom Street Gallery, Wild Things Family Forest School, Minty Events and York Dance Space as members. We look forward to welcoming you.
