Poo Detectives Wednesday 15 Feb, 10.30am-1pm (drop-in)
Ever wondered what ancient poo looks like? Intrigued by what a Viking might have eaten for their dinner? Become an archaeological scientist in this hands-on drop-in workshop and discover the stories behind poo! You’ll meet Ele Green, who will share her collection of coprolites which you’ll be able to analyse through DNA sequences to help you decode the Viking diet. A fun-filled and fascinating activity for young history detectives!
Make a Viking Bracelet – Thursday 16 Feb, 10am-4pm (drop-in), no booking required. Learn how to make your very own Viking bracelet using a braiding disc and silver yarn.
Viking Saga Telling – 11, 12, 16 and 17 Feb – performances at select times throughout the day
