Want to fuel up the little ones and really get them in the spirit of things before a Bloody Tour of York this Halloween? Well, gather your little monsters for a ghoulishly good afternoon of spooky stories, screamin’ snacks and frighteningly good fun with award-winning York tour guide, Mad Alice herself!

The setting for this night of fright is The Marmalade Lounge at No.1, York on Bootham, a room that’s apparently been subject to a number of spooky goings-on over the years. Arrive at 4.15 pm to get settled in, before Mad Alice begins her spooky stories to give the kids a bit of a scare (but not have them screaming in true terror!) There will be hot dogs, popcorn, ice cream and sweets from No.1’s in-house pantry to keep them entertained too.

And if you don’t want the horribly good evening to come to an end just yet, you can always add on Mad Alice’s Bloody Tour of York. The spooky stories will finish at 5.30 pm leaving you plenty of time to make your way up to St Williams College with Mad Alice for her 6.00 pm tour! Parents are welcome to join their little ones in The Marmalade Lounge for the event by purchasing a ticket, or you can relax in the bar at No.1, just across from the lounge where there’s an extensive cocktail, bar and wine list, as well as a snack menu too.

Ticket price includes: An hour of spooky stories with Mad Alice, a soft drink, a hot dog, a tub of ice-cream/dairy-free sorbet, popcorn, and a goody bag of sweets.
