Head to Rowntree Park on the 10th of September for a lovely traditional community event. From 2-4pm there will be a range of activities including apple pressing and apple identification, fruit and veg surplus swap, cake and jam stall, corn dolly making session and needle felt crafts, foraging walk, wildlife area tours and a scything session. There is also a family forest school session in the morning from 10-11.30 am.

This event is based near the wildlife area at the far end of the park. There’ll be free to attend stalls, tours and activities, but some sessions have charges and need booking in advance including forest school, foraging walk, corn dolly craft and needle felt.
