Make it Harewood – A festival of craft
Make It Harewood is a weekend-long festival which opens up the world of craft, allowing the whole family to get stuck in, meet some of the makers from the exhibition, and try out their crafts first hand. The event will take place in and around The Courtyard at Harewood House on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July 2022, featuring a full programme of workshops and demonstrations, DJs and live music, talks, craft stalls, plus local food and drink.
With a weekend packed full of workshops and demonstrations, visitors will have the opportunity to get hands-on and learn from some of the leading talents in their respective crafts fields. As well as a range of intimate workshops for smaller groups, there will be drop-in sessions and beginners activities for all the family, so there will be plenty to keep you busy all weekend long. To complete the festival atmosphere, they’ll be soundtracking the day from start to finish, with extended opening hours on Saturday night until 8pm. The full programme of exciting hands-on workshops can be found here. There’s even an Aardman workshop that’s suitable for the whole family (you’ll need to book a ticket for this in advance).
