Event Details

There’s a jam-packed programme of animal and nature-related activities at Nunnington this summer, including the Bare Bones exhibition. From the tiny Papua New Guinea frog which measures only 7.7mm in length, to the blue whale which grows to over 30 metres, this summer exhibition explores the form and function of the skeleton in animal physiology. Get up close to the intricate skeletons of a large Burmese python, a wallaby in mid run and the delicate bones of a crow amongst others.

Why not head outdoors for the Summer of Sport – can you run like a cheetah or jump as high as a cricket? Discover what’s hidden in the Dig Deep sandpits and follow the Dino Discovery Trail. On Wild Wednesdays, hunt for bugs and butterflies and on Fridays, try a family yoga session! Bring a bit of magic to your day on Saturday 3 August from popular family entertainer ‘Just Josh’ as he brings his interactive family magic show to the garden (Booking essential). Visit the Nunnington Hall website for all the details.
