If they can walk, they can skate. That’s the theory anyway, and it’s the reason we’ve been strapping skates on our youngest at Yorkshire’s Winter Wonderland since she was as small as one of Santa’s elves. Back for its 15th year, York’s only ice skating rink also offers fairground rides, a lovely alpine-themed cafe to warm up in and Christmas shopping opportunities galore (it’s in the car park of York Designer Outlet!).
