- Eureka! is an inspiring, interactive day out for 0 to 11 year olds in Halifax. It might be a bit of a drive from York, but families visit from near and far to learn about the world around us through the imaginative, hands-on exhibits and activities. We’ve been to Eureka! many times but never get bored of it – we get something different from each visit as the children get older. What never changes is that there’s so much to do and see that we don’t get around it all. It’s tons of fun, and educational too (just don’t tell the kids).
Good to know – If ticket prices seem a little steep, bear in mind that your ticket is valid for an entire year. Eureka! is right next to Halifax station, so why not take the train instead of driving, to make it more of an adventure? Book online to avoid queues – this place gets very busy during holidays and rainy days.
