La Cremeria/La Cremeria Grande

Highly Commended - 100pxIf you can’t find a flavour that tickles your fancy at this self-styled Yorkshire home of authentic Italian gelato, La Cremeria (and its big brother, La Cremeria Grande), we’ll eat our flat cap. There’s always something inventive just waiting to be tried, but if you’re not in the mood for ice cream, there are lots of other options – sweet and savoury – too. Gluten-free options always available.

Two Hoots Ice Cream Boat

Highly Commended - 100pxYork’s first ever ice cream boat, Two Hoots is an absolute must-visit. Regularly moored at the Millennium Bridge during the summer months, they serve really tasty ice cream with river views as standard. Check their Facebook page for their whereabouts as things can change with the weather.
