It’s Easter, which means eggs! From a city-wide bunny search to egg hunts in the gardens of spectacular stately homes, there are some cracking Easter activities going on in and around York this year. Get outdoors, meet baby animals, spot some spring flowers and, if you’re lucky, fill your baskets with chocolate! Here’s our pick of the best.

You’d be hopping mad to miss the Great York Bunny Search. Grab a trail map from the Visit York Information Office (Museum Street) and see if you can find all 26 individually designed rabbits hiding in the windows. It’s free to take part and a great way to see the city.
