- Looking for soft play in York? Look no further than Creepy Crawlies. Part of The Web Adventure Park, Creepy Crawlies offers almost 2 acres of indoor and outdoor activity for children of all ages. As well as the usual climbing frames, astro-slides, ball cannons and ball pools, there’s a decent area for non-walkers, ride-ons for toddlers, books, a dance floor, an outside animal zone and a toddler play village. The café is far better than most soft play places, with decent offerings for children and adults (prepare for a wait at peak times). There’s even an ice cream bar and the cafe is licensed.
Good to know – It can get very busy at weekends, during the holidays and when it’s raining so go early. A two hour play limit is imposed when it’s really busy. It’s worth dragging the kids outside as there’s lots to entertain them including an outdoor water area. For older children, check out the Wired High Ropes for children aged 7+. There’s even an on-site nursery, Little Bugs Childcare, too.
