David Walliams might be best known for his TV comedy, but he’s also the author of some cracking children’s books. This February, the stage show of his hilarious story, The First Hippo on the Moon, comes to York’s Grand Opera House. Suitable for children aged 3+, it’s an explosively funny space adventure that sees the enormously rich Hercules Waldorf-Franklin III and his ingenious Shelia compete to be the first hippo to make it to the moon. The hippos will hit the stage at 2pm and 4pm on February 8th and 11am and 2pm on February 9th.
