York Castle Museum is open daily 9.30am to 5pm (closed from 2.30pm on 24th December and closed 25th, 26th December and 1 January) – adults £8.50, under 16s with an adult are free – YorkCard holders go free – buggies must be left at the buggy park but baby carriers can be borrowed for free.
