If you’re looking for something to do in York this bonfire night, you’re spoilt for choice. We’ve already brought you details of Kaboom, Yorkshire’s biggest firework display (don’t forget you’ve got the chance to win a family pass – there’s still time to enter!). But if that doesn’t take your fancy, how about the firework spectacular at York Maze? Highlights include a giant bonfire, a fire show from the man known as the ‘juggling inferno’ (don’t try this at home, kids), live music and of course a firework spectacular. The fireworks will be choreographed to a soundtrack chosen by listeners of Minster FM, and Minster FM’s presenters will be hosting the evening. There will be plenty of food stalls to choose from, selling autumnal delights like jacket potatoes, toffee apples and roast chestnuts as well as a hog roast. For little vikings, the children’s play area and quad track will be open. If you like the sound of it, book soon as no tickets will be available on the night.
