Swimming – They have 3 swimming pools at Energise with activities for all. In the 25m Main pool, they have Swim for Fitness which is lane swimming for competent swimmers aged 11 and over. For general swimming, they have Swim for All sessions which is for all ages and abilities. In the learner pool, they have Swim for all sessions. This warmer swimming pool is perfect for little ones. They also have a hydrotherapy pool for a therapeutic form of exercise in water, which allows greater freedom of movement. Both pools have easy walk-in steps and pool hoists if you need assistance.

Climbing wall – Energise is the largest climbing wall in York including 13m high leading walls, 10m high beginner and intermediate walls, 4m high bouldering walls. Climbers wanting to book public climbing slots must attend and pass a belay/ competency check before booking their first slot. They run climbing courses for both adults and juniors, beginners and experienced climbers are all welcome.

Sports hall – The 6-court Sports Hall is used for a wide range of activities and events. The hall is currently used for day-to-day activities such as badminton and 5-a-side football.
