Bushbabies: Woodland adventures in York's parks!

Things to do in York with kidsWhen we were researching options for kids’ birthday parties in York, we heard a lot of good things about Bushbabies’ celebrations. These woodland adventures – with their shelters, teepees, fires and toasted marshmallows – hit the spot with the York parents and children we spoke to. So it’s brilliant news that Bush Babies are branching out (pardon the pun) with a new initiative in outdoor spaces in and close to York – no birthday required. Sessions start in September and will contain all elements of the classic Bushbabies forest school adventures. They’re suitable for children aged between two and five. Here are the details:

Rowntree Park, York

10am to 11.30am on Thursdays from 4th September for 4 weeks (no classes on 18th and 25th September, 2nd and 9th October). Total cost is £38 which includes a one off registration charge of £6, one free session and hot chocolate, marshmallows and popcorn.

Poppleton, Millenium Fields

10am to 11.30am on Wednesdays from 3rd September for 5 weeks (no classes on 17th, 24th September and 1st, 8th October). Total cost is £30 which includes a one off registration charge of £6, one free session and hot chocolate, marshmallows and popcorn.

After October half term, classes will be regular and open all year round, whatever the weather. Your first session is free. To book a free session, contact Adam on 07854 377777 or email . For more details, visit the Bushbabies website.
