Beningbrough re-opening: What you need to know

Lots of York families have been missing their trips to Beningbrough Hall – ours included – so it’s great news that they’re re-opening on June 3rd 2020. There are, of course, special measures in place to ensure the safety of staff and visitors and you will need to plan ahead if you would like to visit. Here’s what you need to know.

Pre-book your tickets

All visitors must pre-book their visit, whether or not they are members of the National Trust. This will be a 30-minute timeslot. You’re then welcome to stay until closing time. You need to book one ticket per person and need to bring your membership card if you have one. Tickets are available via the Beningbrough website and will be released every Friday.

What’s open

The car park, garden, parkland and toilets will be open, but the catering outlets won’t. Thankfully there’s endless green space for you to throw open your picnic blanket and enjoy some homemade sandwiches.
