Audition alert! York Theatre Royal seeks young actors for Robin Hood

Bow and arrow at the ready! The team at York Theatre Royal are on the lookout for young people to be part of its summer spectacular Robin Hood: The Arrow of Destiny. The search is on for a young cast of three teams of ten young people to play the parts of villagers and merry people. There’s also the chance to work with puppets. Budding performers must love theatre, be interested in telling stories and enjoy being part of a team.
You’ll need to be between 8 and 15 and need to be available for rehearsals from 8th July, and for tech week which is during the school holidays (starting 31st July). The show runs from 4th August to 2nd September, but you don’t need to available for all the dates.

Group auditions will take place on Saturday 20th May from 1pm and 6pm and should last approximately 2 hours. For more details and an application form, visit the York Theatre Royal website
