Angelina Ballerina exhibition at Nunnington Hall this summer

From 23rd July, explore the magical world of Mouseland at the Angelina Ballerina illustrations exhibition at Nunnington Hall.  Although different to the final version we all know and love from the TV, these early pictures show the very beginnings of Angelina, and are on display alongside each other. Visitors can view some of their favourite Angelina moments, including when she is preparing to go to her first ballet lesson, performs for royalty, and when she meets her new baby sister for the first time. Also on show is an illustration from the latest book in the series, Angelina’s Big City Ballet, which follows Angelina and her family arriving in the Big Cheese, New York City.

InAngelina Ballerina Nunnington Hall celebration of the exhibition, there will be a special outdoor family trail inspired by the Angelina Ballerina stories for the summer holiday. Families visiting the hall can also craft a special paper Angelina Ballerina which has been designed especially by illustrator Helen Craig for the exhibition at Nunnington Hall. The exhibition will be on display at Nunnington Hall until Sunday 4 September.

Ballet not your thing? On Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st July, take up arms and join some brave knights on their quest to defeat the Nunnington Dragon! Don your armour and follow the trail to discover the dragon’s lair and save the village from destruction.
