A decade since the release of Christopher Nolan’s ground-breaking blockbuster, star soloist Roger Sayer, who featured on the film’s official soundtrack, will bring the dystopian masterpiece to life in the cathedral’s awe-inspiring Nave.\n\n\n\nFeel the world shrink away as Sayer takes us on a cosmic journey to the furthest corners of the solar system, through wormholes and black holes into far-flung galaxies. Hear highlights from the film’s iconic score, alongside intergalactic favourites from A Space Odyssey and Holst’s The Planets. Get ready for an out-of-this-world musical experience, suitable for all the family.\n\n\n\nThe concert will take place on Thursday 29 August 2024 at 7pm in York Minster’s Nave.
