May half term will be here before we know it – hopefully with a ton of sunshine (I’m ignoring the rain hitting my window)- and there’s plenty happening in York for kids. How about heading to one of our favourite National Trust places, Beningbrough Hall? It’s just 25 minutes from York and kids can tick some stuff off from the National Trust’s ‘50 things to do before you’re 11 3/4’ with some outdoor adventures. There’ll be some special led activities including raft-building and a big bug hunt (daily activities vary, see website for details). It’s tempting to stay outside, but it’s worth venturing into the house for some fun family activities on the top floor.
Sat 28th May to Sun 5th June 2016 – 10.30am to 5pm – Beningbrough, York, North Yorkshire YO30 1DD – from £10.80/£5.40 – visit the Beningbrough Hall website for more details
